Anyone who's had little girls or spent time around them, usually comes to discover that most often they enjoy dressing up, pretending and dancing. I am amazed that Emma inately picked up on that part of girlhood without any help, and it's a joy to watch her be "girly".
Two days ago, Emma and Livy were dressed up complete with "tippy shoes" (high heels) as Andy was walking out the door to work. He had almost made it out when Emma called to him....
"Dad! Will you please dance with me?"
He didn't pause or hesitate, he turned right around and said "Of course I'll dance with you! You're my princess."
Not only did it melt my heart completely, but it reminded me of how willing and ready our Heavenly Father is to meet with us....Waiting to hear us say "Can I spend time with you?"
