Wake Up Call

Whatever they were....braxton hicks/contractions they lasted last night for 2 hours and began at 3 1/2 minutes apart, down to 3 minutes consistently.

Andy and I prayed together at 1:15am for wisdom before we chose to do anything. They stopped at 1:30am.

If nothing else, we BOTH had a wake up call to how unprepared we still are at this point. We have yet to pre-register at the hospital, there's nothing packed, the camera was out of battery and we still lack a few essentials that I still hold out hope for from yard sales.

All of those would seem very insignificant compared to having an 8 wk premature little baby so once again, we're thankful it turned into nothing. But! It might be the start of our last leg in pregnancy adventures...Timing contractions, learning to slow down a bit and finish preparing our home and baby supplies.

Oh! Ladies, I'm looking to buy a nursing shawl this time around and without a sewing machine, making myself one isn't an option. If any of you know who sells/makes them, would you let me know?

Erin,

I've kept this list on a Wal-Mart registry....not intended to give out, but for my own memory to know where we're at and what's left to get. :)
We sure thought we needed EVERYTHING with Emma, now I'm a bit wiser. :)

You can check it out by putting in my name and it should come up...Keep your eyes peeled on yard sales for me!

Nellie,
What a beautiful blog, I really just needed to tell you, as a mother of 4 beautiful strong lovings sons. You are in for a blessing beyond belief, they will totally look at you as no other being in the world is more important than you. It is fun, it is challenging but to no avail the best time of my life raising boys. I know that as wonderful parents you and Andy are, this boy is in for the best life ever. Don't listen to the bad boy stories life is what we make of it not gender driven. God Bless and I can't wait to meet the 3rd amazing Coleman child. Love Netty
