The Circus!

The girls knew Daddy was taking us somewhere special, but didn't know where! What's funny is that they STILL didn't guess it when we drove past ELEPHANTS in the parking lot of the circus. (despite their super excited squeals, neither had ever seen an elephant)

Anticipation!!

Contortionist. Ouch.

Acrobats. I am definitely getting old, I kept thinking about how dangerous the whole thing was.

This was during intermission. When Liv gets excited, she gets lovey. Emma was the recipient of her excitement. :)

Jugglers, way cool.

The best act of the entire show. Amazing how well trained these elephants were! It made me want to go home and watch Dumbo with the girls.

Emma was a hoot and a half during the whole show, I don't think she kept quiet long enough to watch any one full act. "Dad! Why would they want to go way up there? That girl has a pure white costume on! (never mind it was barely covering anything) Daddy! Did you see that?! I would like to train elephants when I grow up. Why did she change costumes again? Do those tigers eat people? Is that safe?"

Then there's Liv who is quietly glued to the "princesses" (aka acrobats with flowing capes and sparkles).

Then there's me (mom) who is thinking to myself, "This is cool, and so dangerous. Wonder if they have excellent insurance....What if one of those tigers jumped out of the cage? Do we have more popcorn? Man I'm hungry. Can't believe they want THAT much for elephant rides!"

Andy just enjoyed watching his 3 girls "Ooo, ahhh and gasp" all night. :)
