I got a wild hair a few days ago to try something totally new for me and without a recipe. I had some berries to use up and wasn't sure what I wanted to do...But for some reason I grabbed my muffin pan and just PLAYED!
I ended up with 7 mini strawberry-raspberry-blueberry pies and here's the shocker, they were GOOD! (gasp) I am not a "fly by the seat of your pants" type cook. I like structure, routine and consistency. Call me boring. But once in a while, it's fun to just try something random.
Something I'll repeat for sure. Maybe for the my friend's baby shower coming up!
