Andy graciously rented a rototiller and made us a garden space in the back yard. (even suffered an icky burn from accidentally reaching down and touching the hot motor!) Our garden space is about 19X9. Not huge, but enough for our little plans. :)
Because of the MANY helping hands we have, our garden won't be perfect, but it will be well-loved and colorful. Emma loves finding little treasures to mark where we've already planted.
Livy is the waterer. She takes her job seriously, and repeats whenever she feels it's necessary...unless we see her first.
Emma is the "foreman" of the project. Willing to help, especially to pull out dirt clods, but also really enjoys leading with suggestions.
The helmet just makes me laugh. My Dad and I were agreeing today that it would really be helpful if most 3 year olds wore them more often. Our garden work yesterday was following a family bike ride in which Liv rode her own bike!
