As of this morning, we're doing well!
No bleeding through the night and besides a pounding headache, I feel good today.
We're waiting for a call back from our Dr. to give us the "ok" to head towards SF for the rest
of the week, in order to be close to Andy and still all be together for Father's Day.
My short experience with bed rest (and a family of 4) is a bit of a joke. I had the tiniest glimpse of what some of these ladies have to go through, and I still can not imagine. I AM hoping very much that the call this morning is not for further bed rest.....REALLY hoping.....
You know, I had to think back on yesterday and wonder. Between 4-5pm things didn't look good...My doctor was concerned (it was obvious), after an exam, she left the room quickly to run some tests and another nurse came in shortly to direct me to the hospital. I felt hot, had low pressure and felt like I was leaking...That's when I was sent to the ER. Once we made it into radiology for an ultrasound, I started feeling more normal, the baby was obviously fine and playing to boot.....The technician wasn't picking up any major warning signs. I really believe prayers were answered in that hour.
There's nothing like your children to bring out strong emotion, and this was a brand new experience for our pregnancies, one I'd love not to repeat.
I am blessed by our friends who were quick to let us know they were praying.
Oh! And as a side note, Andy's Clinical Instructor (CI) was VERY understanding and gave him the day off today, now we just need to get in touch with his school instructor to let him know why Andy is MIA today. :) I'm praying he can return to the clinic tomorrow and still finish his 6 weeks in time for us to make it to Mount Rushmore as planned with the girls. One day at a time right now.
Oh, and younger women....you want to find a husband who will bring you your favorite piece of chocolate silk pie to start off bed rest (of any duration) on the right foot. ;)

Hey Nellie! I am SOSO sorry this happened! We will be praying for you! I know how scary these experiences are!!! I will pay for NO bedrest - it is a hard thing but completely worth it if that's what it takes!
So glad things are looking ok. You do have an amazing family and wonderful hubby. Glad you're well taken care of. Continuing to pray for your and Baby's health.
