Emma helped me find some beautiful flowers out of our backyard this morning in the cool breeze. We don't have much variety, but they smell great! I opened up pretty much every door and window in this house as soon as we got back (old farm houses tend to get smelly when they're not lived in for almost a week). We haven't needed the air on at all, there's a light breeze still blowing and it's picture-perfect summer weather.
Our green beans, zucchini and potatoes exploded this last week, in the best way. I had a friend laugh out loud when I told her I planted an additional "row" of zucchini. "A ROW?!" she laughed, "As in more than ONE plant?!" Oops, guess I'll learn about zucchini. No wonder all my neighbors always gave us extra....EVERYONE has extra!
Tonight I'll be back to post about our weekend in SF, Emma's Wii En devours and the latest T-ball pictures.
But for now, I have fresh lemonade calling my name as I make my way up to our little boy's room to sort out all my yard sale finds of the week.
