I started spotting this afternoon and after calling my doctor, was on my way first to her clinic, then sent to the hospital ER. :(
Amazing and gracious in every way, my landlord Kathy (who's become a friend) and her youngest daughter Anna (our babysitter) made it to our house within 10 minutes of calling them. Anna stayed with the girls and Kathy drove me around, staying right by till we knew what was up.
She let me cry.
After the ER ultrasound, I was sent home to be on bedrest till the official radiologist could read the ultrasound report. At least I was stable enough to go home, very thankful for that.
At least we know that baby boy is very active today, strong heart beat and seems un-bothered by whatever might be going on. He was sucking his thumb and kicking at the doppler at different times...never stopped fidgeting.
Prayer would be wonderful right now. Andy drove back from SF tonight to be with us, but he really needs to return to his clinicals as soon as possible so we're praying these bedrest orders do not last.
