Yard Sales

No one in my life can be too surprised by my admission that I love to shop garage sales!

For any family or individual, it's a money-saving, adrenaline rush that pays off when you take the time to search out you or your family's needs.

Whether it be a new desk and chair, tomato plant stands, a bread machine or Lincoln logs....There are NO better prices anywhere and I can attest to that.

I was thrilled today to find baby boy clothes (golly you gals weren't kiddin', boy clothes don't hold a CANDLE to girl clothes!) Fall dresses for both the girls, shoes, fleece pull-overs for Andy and I, baby bibs, and spent a whopping $2.50 on toys for the girls that have them squealing with delight. (Didn't YOU always want a dress-up wedding veil?!)

The point is, I love my hobby. I love feeling like I really accomplished a mission in providing for my family's ever-growing needs, even on a school "dirt cheap budget".

If you haven't been out in a while, give it a shot!
