No need to call me with a calendar reminder, I know it's October 27th. :)
Back story...our family is on a bit of a war-path, we are deep cleaning one room or area per night together before bed. (I'm hoping it opens the girls' eyes to the depth of cleaning it takes to maintain a home with 5 people and 2 pets).
Today, it was the laundry room. It started off harmless enough, I was going to get some laundry done, mop the floor, pull the dryer out and shopvac the lint.....
Then, it happened, somewhere between matching socks out of the lonely singles bin, and sorting books, backpacks and coats, I looked outside.
The clouds spell snow, the leaves are raining at our house and my fireplace was on.
It was a Christmas mood disaster waiting to happen.
The laundry room IS clean, it is also transformed into what we've come to call here at our house, The Workshop, our one-stop shop for all wrapping needs.
Can't lie, I'm getting excited for the holidays.

Glad I'm not the only one! :) we had Christmas music on sonos this morning! I have had fun with halloween this year, but NOTHING beats the thanksgiving/Christmas season!
